databa

Audited warehouses your board can actually trust.

Everyone’s racing to put an AI agent on their data. An agent on an ungoverned warehouse is a confident liar — it answers the board off a model owned by someone who left. We deliver the whole stack: the audit, the governed warehouse, and the agent that stands on it.

Read-only audit. Deterministic. No language model in the path. Nothing leaves the machine.

01

The lesson

plumbing · before the faucet

A data warehouse is plumbing. Your board wants the faucet — answers, on demand, from an AI that talks to your data. But the faucet is only as honest as the pipes. That’s the part nobody’s selling. It’s the part we do first.

02

The ladder

audit · warehouse · agents

Three rungs stand between an ungoverned estate and an agent your board can trust. Databa builds all three rungs.

Rung 01
Audit Databa

We walk the estate read-only and map how the data actually flows — deterministically, in one pass. The map shows the gaps as gaps.

Rung 02
Governed warehouse Databa

We build the audited, governed warehouse: owned lineage, retired shadow pipelines, one provable path. The warehouse an agent can be trusted on.

Rung 03
Agents Databa

The agent layer that talks to the data — built by us, in the engagement, scoped to your defined work. It stands on the governed warehouse rungs 1 and 2 made trustworthy.

Most vendors sell rung 3 alone — an agent bolted onto data they never audited. We deliver the whole ladder, in the order that makes the agent honest.

databa The confident liar — shown, not argued

This is the warehouse an agent would lie from. The map is the argument.

A real systems map. The Board Pack model is still owned by someone who left — every number on the deck traces through it. A Salesforce API connection feeds the nightly export; on the map it is traceable lineage — a connection you can govern, not a blind spot. Point an AI agent at this and it answers confidently and wrong. The map shows the estate and the broken edges as broken edges — that is what earns the engagement.

Every incumbent

Purview, Collibra, Atlan, OneTrust lineage, the AI-agent lineage tools — the map is probabilistic, inferred, or instrumentation-dependent. It is a best guess assembled from what the platform happened to log.

Databa

We walk the actual edges, read-only, locally, and produce a deterministic map. Same tenant, same map, every run. No language model in the path. The map is reproducible byte-for-byte, which is why it can be handed to an auditor or an acquirer.

We don’t guess the estate. We walk it.

proof · not the headline

The map isn’t a best guess. We walk the estate with a signed, read-only binary — deterministic, reproducible, every reference followed. The audit log proves the walk was real; the Findings Report proves it was thorough. The binary that does it is free — run it yourself. It is the proof behind the engagement, not the engagement.

The audit running Databa · live walk
The binary walking the tenant read-only, following each reference. · The audit log is the evidence the walk was real, not a render.
Findings Report Databa · report
The report is the thorough proof behind the map. · It also surfaces ownership and edge issues — secondary to the map, narrated on it.
Captured from the signed binary running its --demo tenant. Finding shapes are real; this tenant is synthetic. Code-signed, read-only, nothing leaves the machine.

The engagement

audit · build · agent

Three steps from an ungoverned estate to an agent your board can trust.

scoped engagement · the discovery an advisory firm bills six figures for — already done

Built at the speed of AI, by practitioners who did it the hard way.

Step 01 · Audit

We walk the estate.

A fixed, fast read-only audit. We map how the data actually flows, deterministically, and hand you the systems map with every broken edge shown as a broken edge.

Fixed scope · fast turnaround
Step 02 · Warehouse build

We build the warehouse that earns the agent.

Scoped to what the audit made obvious: owned lineage, retired shadow pipelines, one provable path. The governed warehouse an agent can be trusted on.

Scoped engagement · sized to the map
Step 03 · Agent layer

The agent that stands on it.

The agent that talks to your data — built by us. Scoped to defined work and fed by the governed map, so it answers from audited ground instead of guessing. Not a bolt-on: the same governance, applied.

Delivered in the engagement · scoped to you

An agent is only as honest as the warehouse under it. We build the warehouse — and the agent that stands on it.

Starts a note to ryan@databa.ai — we’ll scope the audit from there.
